define your why. purposeful movement leads to a passionate mind.

growing up, i was in the dance world from age 3 through 18. i learned a lot about expression, my body, music. physically dancing took a toll on my body but i wanted to continue to stay active and express myself creatively.

i took a yoga class at my university gym & continually wanted more. after finding a local yoga studio i was hooked for the next 3 years. i applied to work the first desk at this same studio & even after learning the inner workings of studio business - lots of laundry, retail, early mornings & late nights - i knew i had to take a teacher training.

finding a studio after moving to seattle was like finding another home. the people, the classes, the release. it was all essential in my transition across the states. on a whim i signed up for my 200hr RYT ( registered yoga teacher ) training without knowing if i could afford it or even before i knew any of the coaches. it became the best decision of my life.

we all have our β€˜ish’ and yoga became my therapy & outlet.

i learned to slow down & breathe. i hope to bring you the same.
